I am in the middle of a move to Tempe, AZ. Big Bertha arrived Thursday.
I picked her up Friday, but have been so busy that I did not open the
box until yesterday afternoon. Since I am moving and assembling
furniture (2nd floor apartment), Bertha feels positively featherweight.
Perhaps I'll call her Berthette instead. Or, since this is southern
Arizona, Berthita.
All I have explored so far is the aperture ring, which is the smoothest
I have ever used. The quality of design and construction is so clear
just from that one part.
More later when the furniture is assembled. There's an Ikea store here,
so my wife (whose grandmother was Swedish) has been enjoying herself.
