India on the other hand has steadily been building the necessary infrastructure, and while they haven't seen the growth China has (Because they've been building infrastructure instead of just production), they are in a far better position to take advantage of things in the future.
I am not an economist, and I don't know if you are right or wrong in your reasonings. But, have you ever been to India? I have, three times and I can tell you that their basic infraestructure (transport, sanitation, etc.) is abismal, much worse than in many other 3rd world countries. They can be a leading country in computing, but they will have to improve their infraestructure a lot if they are to be a economic power. And I haven't even mentioned how the majority of their population live.
