I have two of them and use them quite often. My general usage is for
daylight fill flash. For my weddings for lower light, I use Pentax
AF400T in TTL mode at ISO 400. After dialing compensation down to
around -2.5, I get pretty consistent results.
My opinion is that P-TTL is still problematic and using Auto mode on
the flash would probably be better overall. Now frankly, the AF360FGZ
is one of the better flashes for A mode because you can dial in any f
stop you want to use within power range rather than the one or two f
stop settings of most flashes. It is quite versatile no matter how
you use it.
