On 7/11/05, Albano Garcia, discombobulated, unleashed:

>TTL metering in DSLRs. I've talked with some pros
>here, they're using top Nikon and Canon models, and
>they are unable to get predictable results in TTL
>flash. They are using auto flash or not flash at all
>now. They have talked to local importers without
>success. It seems sensor's reflectance is hard to work
>with, not like film, I don't know, but all brands at
>all price levels have problems.

When I had a D60, I had inconsistencies with flash. With a 1DmII, I have
seen none of this. The consistency is excellent in both TTL auto, and
fully manual. The flash delivers what is required. (580EX+Quantum Turbo).
