Cool images Derby, that bright sky is freaky in some of the shots! The bridge looks very 'sci-fi' from below like that.

Re: the scratch, we've all been told what a small effect a front element scratch has on optics, but I agree, it's still always a bummer. Serves you right for having such a ridiculously large lens (jealous).

The last 3 shots were from my first night using the 55mm. I don't have a lens cap nor filter for the lens (100mm thread, ouch). I was working in a slight drizzle, which lit up the sky nicely. But in my haste to pack my bag afterwards, a doo-dad made a bit of a scratch on the front element. Probably doesn't affect the image much, but it is irritating.

I think I should at least find a 100mm cap for it.
