But that is what I would have done when I was tempted about a month ago to upgrade from the Rebel to the XT. Only now I just bought a new lens, the Canon 70-200mm 4 L. And I'll be paying that off for a while. I can wait to upgrade when Canon comes out with another camera in six months. As Pentaxian friend on this list has pointed out to me, the dark side comes up with new cameras about every six months to try to force people to spend more money on small incremental upgrades.
