Uh. They are pulling around suitcases, Boris. In the middle of busy
sidewalk
in the middle of a busy city. No one else on that sidewalk had suitcases.
They are NOT right next to a hotel or an airport or something. I
think the
sign, Civic Center sort of says that. But maybe one has to know SF. (They
probably rode in on Bart from somewhere and are seeking a hotel
somewhere.)
Boris, put your Sherlock Holmes deerstalker on. The two on this side
of the sign have suitcases, so they're going somewhere. If they were
locals going out of town, they wouldn't need to look at the map -
they'd know the way. Ergo, they're foreigners coming into town.
This is most fascinating. I usually do not look for smaller details on
the photo... I take a look. I try to "feel" the photo. If it "catches"
me, I keep looking...
Of course you're right in your observation. It is just that it seems my
"style" of looking at photos does not fit here ever so slightly.
