'Bout an hour west of Ottawa, Canada. At one point in time, the satellite providers here were providing internet access (maybe it's still available, not certain), but it was cost prohibitive. Plus the fact that that you were still using dial-up for uploads held a huge disadvantage. One of the advantages of HS, is freeing up the phone line when on-line.
If I try to upload any file much bigger than 1-2M, I might as well forget it. (or go to work).
