Thank you Boris. For me this is really a great compliment. I really admire
Franks work on similar subjects.

In fact, one of Franks pictures of the jazz singer Pirate Jenny, turned up
in back of my head when I was processing the image. I am not able to recall
what the similarities where, something about the mood, I believe. That’s
what gave me the idea of giving the image a low saturated look. I even
experimented with adding some grain ;-)
That idea I did let go, mainly because I wasn't able to add natural looking
grain, but also because it made me feel like a copy cat.

BTW. Frank, if reading this, can you please repost the URL to the pictures
I'm referring to? Before posting this I had a look for them, in vain. I
would love to have another look at them (think it was two pictures).

While I'm posting:
Thanks to Paul and Don too.
Paul: I have noticed and commented on the spot myself. If I ever print this
image out, I will clone it away. I haven’t got a proper printer yet. That’s
next major enablement in line.

One more time: Thank you all members for looking and commenting, it inspires
me.
