Pentax AF400T combined with the LX gave TTL auto and shutter speed  
setting
via the PC socket.

Yes, but it had a really funky cable, with extra connectors, to do  
that. :-)

I wouldn't consider that a PC connection. I would consider it to be a  
"PC compatible" connection. There is a difference.
