Virginia Tech, eh? My alma mater. I live ten miles away these days.
I never bought a Peleng, but have the 16mm fisheye Zenitar. Bought
it directly from KMZ in Moscow some time ago. Cost all of $ 75!! I
use it on my EOS 10D via adapter, which loses most of the fisheye
effect and makes it a 24mm with tons of barrel distortion.
