That's good! Definitely easy to reach, for once... Any other
event before that?
Usually, 10+ AOHC members (including myself) get together at Montecchio
secondhand camera fair (early January each year), spending the morning at
the fair, the noon at a good table and the afternoon shooting here and
there.
But I understand it is quite far from Ercolano.
How comes that the Rome edition of the PhotoShow won't take
place? I hadn't heard anything about.
Because the Roman organizer and the AIF (Italian Association of Photo
Importers) haven't found an agreement (AIF thinks the Rome fair to be
unsuited, the cost of the event to be too high and not enough worth, and so
on...).
It looks like the organizer is trying to put together another (lesser?)
event, but without the official importers there's little hope for an
interesting display of equipment. Things are evolving right now.
