Very little. I must say that I already knew of the german company
that was cutting up official Pentax screens to fit the -DS. I didn't find
any links of DIY versions... primarily because I found the link to the
compay that's doing it. Also, looks like there's another guy who's making
them for the Canons as well. Haoda... check ebay item 7563008512 for an
example.

Hmm... 72 $ is indeed a bit expensive. Is it that good?
Actually, $72 is the cheaper of the two. The Katz Eye one ranges
from $100-$160 depending on which "option" you spring for. I have emailed
Haoda and he said that they are working on a Pentax version.
Both of these places have increased the models they support over
the past few months. I'm hoping that with the demand for them and
increasing competition between the two that the prices may come down a bit
more. Even though I'm a cheap bastard, I think it may be worth $75 to me
to have the split-prism finder again, though... all but one of my lenses
are MF.
Oh, and Haoda at least makes a 45 degree version as well. That's
what my previous camera had (P30T). I don't understand why it's not more
popular than the horiz or vert one. Diagonal works for *either* trees or
horizons... :)
