The no-brainer camera that I HAVE is:
a Nikon One Touch... early incarnation.
Pretty good metering; good, crisp shots, you can hand it to ANYONE & they
don't fumble for the button; has a lens protector/power on-off door.
My only gripe is that you sometimes want the flash & the camera thinks you
don't need it, so it stays retracted.
But what do you want for a camera "found" at the beach... 15yrs ago??
I used to have a Minolta, but "loaned" to a friends wife which she
"forgot" & took with her back to China.
Surprising shots came from the Kodak 110 I used during my military tour.
When I sent in one roll to Kodak for development, Kodak bought the rights
to a reflected shot of the Pont de Vecchio (Firenzie) reflected in the
river it crosses.... & another of the island that lies off Dubrovnic,
Yugoslavia.
Not bad for a $20 camera.

Harder game
My program plus (I love this thing)
85mm; 300mm (you can NEVER get close enough for some shots)
28~105; 70~200 if "stuck" wid my current gear bag. =)
Photographing street kids of the world (good excuse to rack up mileage).
Since someone's paying for it, I'm gonna drag it out FOREVER.

WINDER BLUES:
I picked up a ME-II winder
Had my repair guy give it a once over
When I attach it to my Program Plus, it'll cycle fine for 2-3 shots,
then cycle but not advance the film till I *cock* the handle towards the
body to forcefully engage the cogs.
Take everything back to the repair guy & of course he can't make it fail.
Grab another winder from the case & it still works fine.
Go home, add film & it sucks. Go back, it still works fine.
Anyone had something similar? What was the "fix"??

Dave's Light leak in film
Take the film to a different developer next time.
When/if it shows again, take the camera in.
