I am surprised Texas can be so green. That could almost pass for parts of California (arid but with oaks). Although our hills have rounded tops.

Interestingly, this view does not strike me as "so green." Probably my tropical heritage. Where I used to come from, the hills are really, really green. (And they, too, are rounded.) I was coming back from shooting fall colour in a State Natural Area (now, that *is* alien to my heritage) but better fall colour has been exhibited here lately, so thought I'd share this instead. I may yet change my mind and show some leaves.
