Hey listers..... I've got an itch to buy some camera gear (you know how it is).... Buying a Minolta 38~105 lens didn't satisfy.... Trying to make contacts in Japan & get one of the last LX's seems to be out of the question (& a bit pricey)..... & I don't wanna end up with someone elses "problem child" in a used LX (plus the x-tra $200 to get it set up MY way). E-Bay is ok if yer selling (fools & bidding wars make good company). I really like the Pentax ZX-5N, but for the same amount I can go with a Nikon N80. I can also run across the Canadian border & knock 40% off the Pentax & end up with a MZ-5N (nutz to the warranty). The 5N seems to be better than the ZX-7... is it? Since everyone's making up dream sheets for gear on that mythical 6-month assignment... dream me into a camera for less than a grand that'll give me AF & the ability to use the $800 or so I have in Pentax lenses.
