plastic garbage bag would be bad, too much reflection... the ziplock bag I used for the tiles was just to keep them from spilling... not for a background. I have also placed a piece of white styrofoam above what I was shooting and occasionally pieces of colored paper or something on "stilts" of whatever was around to keep it totally out of focus. play around with it... it's kinda fun ann ======= Aha, cool, thanks. Ambient light making black background, hadn't thought of that. I do have some flat stuff to sell. Maybe a vintage lace handkerchief will photograph well this way. I wasn't sure before how to do it. It has limited resell value, but you never know with ebay. It's tag line should be "People will buy the darndest things." I've sold wooden jigsaw puzzles we had as children there.
