I would try talking to tech support before returning the printer. There
are a lot of variable in print setup and options. You should probably
make sure you have it all dialed in before you ship it off.

Thanks. I've tried this too but it doesn't help either. I've also
tried setting dpi all over the place to no effect. If anything the
problem seems to be getting progressively worse...
There must be something wrong with the printer...
