Hi,

This is sort of following on from the previous discussions we've had on the
list about photo backpacks, mainly LowePro.

I've been looking for a Camera Backpack for a while, I've looked at most of
the LowePro, Tamrac and a Domke. I ruled out the Domke one on the price.

I took all my camera gear into a few shops in the city (Melbourne) and tried
the lowepro range, then I went to actually buy one at my local camera store
and he happened to have a Tamrac Expedition 5, I compared it to the Lowepro
ones and the quality of the Tamrac seemed better. It seemed to have
better stitching and much better clips and buckles, also the straps were of
a heavier weight fabric (?). Some of the attatchments on the Tamrac or
metal.

I think the Lowepro we were previously discussing were of a larger size than
this bag.

I have taken a couple of shots of the bag with my gear in it, I think I
might move some of the internal dividers around to better arrange the gear,
I
think I could fit quite a bit more in with them in different spots, this was
my first attempt and there is a lot of wasted space with the current
configuration.

The Tamrac was also quite a bit more comfortable on by back and seemed to
make the gear feel lighter.

Here are the pics, the gear inside is:
MZ5n with FA28-70/4
LX with M50/1.4
F70-210
FA*200/2.8
FA*24/2
Sigma 105/2.8 Macro
2x Tele

It really needs to be organized better, although I doubt I would really want
to carry around much more weight than this.

Its small enough to be taken onto a plane as hand luggage also.
