Feels good to get nice feedback from you Shel, thanks! I just hoped it
might be of some interest to someone around here, as this lens is quite
new and a very few professional reviews have been written about it. For
this reason, I hesitated quite a while before buying it... Wondering,
well, one can't possibly get a 18-125 at a bargain price and still make
good pictures with it, come on! I guess I should post this on some other
forums, too...
BTW, people most disappointed with this lens were those expecting the
beast to beat high-end brand lenses costing at least 4 times its price.
It clearly can't do this!
I hope to post other shots soon, more representative of
sharpness/softness in different conditions (center/corners, full
open/stopped down, various focal lengths...).
