I've had no problems getting it to recover .pef files in the past Mark. I though the same as you when I first ran the program. Out of desperation I had it search for .nef (D1H/D1x) files. It recovered the files, I then changed the extension to .pef. Works like a charm. All exif data retained.
I just scanned a card I have here on my desk, just to make sure my memory isn't failing me, and yep, works fine. Added bonus is it was free :-) Dave On 11/20/05, Mark Roberts <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > >In a message dated 11/19/2005 7:54:11 PM Pacific Standard Time, > >[EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > >Don't bother with the sleight of hand, just comply and erase the card. > >Then before you take any more photos switch cards and use recovery > >software on the first card, even a normal format will leave the data > >behind. > >========= > >Uh.
