Yes, ACR v2.4 supports the D and DS PEF files. My question was to ask
whether Jack was using a DL or DS2 and found them incompatible with
ACR v3.2.
- If you're using PSE3-4, you can use ACR v2.4, v3.0, v3.1, v3.2 and
v3.3beta at this point in time.
- If you're using PS CS, you can use ACR v2.4.
- If you're using PC CS2, you can use ACR v3.0, v3.1, v3.2 and v3.3beta.
The v3.x versions of ACR have improved conversion routines as well as
new functions and capabilities. The conversion routines are used by
both PSE and PSCS2, but the new features work only with CS2.
I'm not sure about DL and DS2 PEF files. If someone gives me access
to one of each, I can test them in v3.2.

Probably
the istDL will work, but I don't know of anyone who's actually
tried it.
The DS2 is an even bigger ??

First: why are you using the Camera Raw beta? Unless it is that the
PEF files you're trying to use are not compatible with CR v3.2, I
would NOT use beta software as a learning tool.
