Exposure set, stopped down a ways and hyperfocal.

was shot from the hip with a Canonet. Same basic idea as shooting with MLU, but even less framing accuracy (but great for stealth street shooting, the Canonet's quieter than a Leica). It's actually a 40% crop from 35mm, to make the frame vertical from a mostly horizontal shot.

How would you use MLU without a tripod?
On the 6x7, I crop a little loose, and just before I want to take the picture, I lock the mirror.
