Excellently observed phenomenon.  I've been looking at this since yesterday, 
trying to work out why it doesn't work for me as well as usual.  I think it's 
the composition.  Either there's too much in the frame (it's not "enigmatic" 
enough) or there is too little.  I can't make my mind up.

I'll go and dither some more.
