My mind's eye sees Gandalf and Frodo in the distance... :-)
Closest LoTR location I can find is Mt. Potts Station (aka Edoras)
which is about 150km from there.
I like being able to recognise the landscapes in movies, but it does
also make it more obvious when something has been altered in post-
production.
