From memory, of what I have gathered on this lens .....
It has a *very* short zoom range, maybe 32-38mm or something
like that and the idea was maybe along the lines of fine-tuning
the image to fit a slidemount window. After a bit of practice
you could supposedly frame at some point (relative to the slide
mounts you were using/getting back from your processor) and then
"zoom back" to widest and have your "perfect framing".
