I'd like a 2nd DS to use along with the 1st - it cuts down the number of times that I have to change lenses (which, depending on the situation, may or may not be of significant help). And, if one did ever "poop out" on me (perhaps even due to batteries or a full card), I'd have the other one ready to go. (Yes, I know that batteries and memory cards can be changed, but sometimes it'd be quicker to switch bodies and lenses than to swap batteries or cards.) And, of course, this would also be true if the failure was more serious than a full card or empty batteries. Fred
