Getting the scan to resemble the slide has been rather
testing, and I still don't have the rich brownish-red
of the bricks or the completely neutral grey of the
stone where I want them, even with an hour of diddling
in PSE2.
Learn how to manipulate the image using curves, if you haven't already.
