I've recently read Ansel Adams in Color.
The reason Ansel didn't like color photography was the lack of control
he had over it. He would have LOVED Photoshop.

I'm sure you would perceive that as OK however if I have a jet trail

midst of the sky of my otherwise pristine natural landscape I'm going to
consider cloning it out, it shouldn't be there and I can control it
being there
except after the fact. Would you view this action as a contradiction
WRT to the
concept of the nature photograph?
