Hi Loreen, It would appear Canadian Customs have returned the package to you, due to the lack of customs details. I did double check on Friday if the shipping/despatch supervisor had seen anything. All postal packages coming into Canada (especially BC), must have a customs sticker/declaration. If they do, generally the package cleared quite quickly, without having to pay duty. Got this reply again today, does not appear we are going to resolve this easily: From: Loreen Pitchford [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: James Adams Sent: Tuesday, July 17, 2001 4:38 PM Subject: Re: Ricoh Winder James, What do you want to do about the Ricoh Winder that your company refused and was sent back to me. I can't be responsible for shipping costs. It is not up to you to "mother" her and make sure she puts all that stuff in the package. It was her responsibility. She stuffed up and now expects you to pay for her mistake. Why are you even considering this? It is obvious who should pay. Jody. PPS Thanks for adding the OT. > > James, I have the box with the winder which was > > returned marked "need Custom > > Invoice, Value & Description" written on the box. > > What do you want to do? > > Loreen > > > > Am I correct that it was Canadian Customs that > > returned the package, and if > > so the shipper should pay the postage and insurance. > > > > James |
