Well, exaggeration emphasizes the point, right? At the camera club we discuss pictures. Here we discuss gear (mostly). So, at the PDML Ken Rockwell's statement is bound to stir up some discussion. In a sence he's right. And he has a point about spending time thinking of the photograph, rather than the camera. All cameras can be used for making excellent pictures. Still, the same picture might have been even better, using a more suitable camera for the job. Which BTW does not prevent me from trying to get the best gear I can afford, performing tests, changing lenses, buying and selling lenses, listening to advice etc. Regards Jens
