So with all this pedonoia nonsense floating about, two days ago I met up with my brother for lunch in his small town (West Nyack). Went into a hippy-dippy dessert & lunch restaurant, sitting in the back room. Five-six tables. In the corner of the room are these two young women with a little girl. The little girl is wearing those eyeglasses made for young children ... they look very goofy and cute on her. I've got the little Panasonic LX1 with me, start snapping pictures. Remember: two men sitting at a table, shooting across the room.

They notice me taking pictures, and start primping the little little girl to make cute faces and smile at the camera. Got one snap that looks really cute. We're about to leave ... walk over to their table, show them the photos on the LCD. They loved them. Gave 'em my card, told them to send me a note if they'd like a print. Nice folks, cute little girl. Sensible interaction.

Sometimes I wonder about the sanity of the world at large. Sometimes I just know, shake my head, and keep on doing what I do.
