The head is a standard 3 way unit but with the addition of a macro slide rail
which is fitted with a QR plate and shoe so that I can clip it in between the
tripod head and camera. This then allows me to add a horizontal offset to allow
the pivot point to be set at the lenses optical nodal point in order to
minimize parallax errors.
Where do you get info about a particular lens' nodal point?
