Jack,
I used my baby girl's impending arrival to justify purchasing a Ds last
spring. I find the DSLR workflow much faster and less tedious than the film
SLR workflow, and I like the results I'm getting with digital. As a result,
my Ds has pretty much replaced my MZ-S and LX in day-in day-out use. I do
like the Portra 400UC color palette, but my 35mm film days may be numbered
(I have my medium format stuff Rolleiflex TLRs and Galvin View for "serious"
work).

Mark,
You may have elaborated on the retirement of the LX, but, if so, I
missed it. Is it the camera or the frame size..or..?
