It does also add a couple other possibilities in which there is programmed TTL which is NOT possible with the 372. It means you can have TTL when working with program. Of course you'll tell me you never use program but that is another story ... Also, 372 works with analog TTL bodies and digital TTL bodies (simply because bodies retained compatibility, not because of the adaptor). 3701 (and 3702 AFAIK) do only work with digital TTL bodies.
