They made me supply mine before they would ship the goods but of course they happily debited the card as soon as I'd placed the order. I photographed my card, photoshopped a big red line across the image of my signature, downsized it to about 300 pixels long and sent it off, that seemed good enough to get my goods released. I guess they just want to see if the card is actually a real one not a white clone.
