I agree as well. I've made prints from files with dpi numbers like 311.67, and the results were identical to those from 300 dpi files. But I prefer to work with one resolution in order to achieve a standardized workflow. It just so happens that the 72 meg files I generate using the top step of the RAW converter are ideal for my magazine clients and work out to 11 x 17 at 360 dpi for printing. Most of the prints in my portfolio are 11 x 17, and it's a nice size for framing. I downsize to 50 meg for stock.
