I bought the 19-35 for a trip recently. It's quite a good lens for the money, delivers some good results.  It's sharp and contrasy, but in outdoor shots I had some problems with flare.

Hi

Has anybody on this list used either of the following Vivitar lenses?

  Series 1 19-35mm f/3.5-4.5 manual focus lens

Fixed Focal Length Lens - 19mm f/3.8 Wide Angle.

I'm thinking about purchasing one of them for use with my Super-A (and
with my MX when I receive it in a few weeks' time).

Thanks in advance for whatever reflections you can offer.

Cheers
