A general thanks to everyone who liked this one and made nice comments. <G> To those who suggested a crop, I kind of like the bike off-centre a bit, and I think that the brick wall adds to the atmosphere (whatever that might be). It is a bit dark, but my rather crude PS skills won't allow me to bring up the dark wall without doing the same to the basket/bike/sidewalk. Were I getting it printed again, I'd certainly ask Robert to dodge that left side a teensy bit. Someone mentioned the legs walking out of the frame on the upper right. Actually, I like them! I think that "fill" that space between the handlebar and seat and wall a bit; they add a bit of balance in that space. Plus, they add a bit of "street realism" to the scene. Hey, this is a real-world photo, not some staged thing! <LOL> I wish there were just a bit more leg showing (get yer mind out of the gutter <vbg>). Again, thanks for your kind words. Funny, but I thought Waiting for the Bathurst Car was the "keeper" of the prints I got back this weekend (hence it was the PAW), but this one (a PESO) got much more positive comments and reviews. Go figure, eh? I guess that's why this place is so valuable sometimes. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
