Peter - glad to see the view from up there... my acrophobia kept me from continuing on the trail after a certain point. As much of it as we did cover was lovely, but I collapsed in tears at some point and was so scared I got no shots that weren't blurry. It wasn't so much just the height but the narrowness of the trail and lack of traction... The other side of the canyon was less daunting :)
yes, I understand. When I saw last half mile of the trail, my first thought was: Wow, it's pretty impossibe for me to climb over there. But when I realized how magnificent views of the canyon from the top could be, my photog instincts won over my fear. :-)
