In Oz electronics goods distributors were obliged to provide a schematic 
diagram for any goods sold (within the mandatory time that there were also 
expected to maintain a parts supply) the problem was that there was no specific 
indication that it had to be readable. So when I was in service I ended up 
trying to work or postage stamp sized schematics more than once. :-(
