G'day Shel I prefer the warmer toned version. For me this a scene reminiscent of when I was a kid at summer time family get together's (I think I was about 5 or 6 when I first tasted beer & no, I didn't wander around smashed :-)
BTW, I love the eyes. If I may be so bold, I'd recommend selective dodging and burning throughout the image to highlight the eyes.
