Didnt see the photo competition post -b ut then I
only skim the list...
as to the calendars

a couple of years ago I made calendars on my 820
Epson having designed
all the stuff myself in photoshop and publisher -
they looked great but cost
me about $15 and a lot of time for each one...
always had to keep an eye
on the printing.

Someone told me about cafepress.com - You can
upload the images and
then order them from your own "store" for their
base price which is the
same price as I was making the calendars for,
essentially. The paper is
glossy and the color photos look excellent but I
would have designed the
calendar part more prettily.

They are very good about refunds and do overs if
you are displeased -
I know that because they printed my Sign Language
Black and white calendar
over 3 times for me - apparently it is tought to
get black and white stuff
printed right with what is basically a color
printer.

probably a bit late for you for this year - but it
is a time saver and the
actual images look great. They also have a format
for one of those one
picture calendars but I haven't seen the results
of those as I prefer
variety.

good luck with it - (and, hey, if you go the
cafepress root say
I referred you and I get a small (very) commission
for sending someone
their way - my shop id is "annsanstuff"
