Har, I was out and about today, true. It's *just* outside our patch, but
the smoke is making itself known here in Oxfordshire. Got some nice
shots of it drifting over the Oxford skyline.

I was actually awoken by the explosions at about 6.10am - this is 40
miles away! High pressure at the moment here, no wind, so not surprising
really. I thought it was a small Earth tremor - we do very occasionally
have them. The last time was a couple of years ago and I heard the
rafters (trusses) shimmy in the attic (loft) for a few seconds. Thought
it was an animal on the roof, but turned out to be a very small seismic
disturbance. Anyway, I heard the thud-thud-thud. That sucker will be
burning til Weds at the earliest.

The nicest part was that In was on overtime today. 2T :-)))

Cheers,
  Cotty
