It's an amusing programme, which has very little relevance to the average motorist. Much of the time is spent on cars which cost north of £60,000. Even if I was a multi millionaire, I wouldn't spent that on a car. A vast amount must be staged in advance - the last bit of the chase to London by public transport, where they jumped on a 'night bus' to finish was a bit of a giveaway, as Metrobuses haven't been used in service for some time - a few left as trainers or with private companies for use in hire, films and adverts!
