Hi Ralf, I think you can achieve what you want by using curves. Try adding some anchors along the straight line, and then pull the lower 1/4 a bit down. If you think that the adjustments affects the wrong range of tones, try moving the anchors up and down along the diagonal and play around until you find out what works for you. :-)
