But when I open the photo OUTSIDE of the webbrowser, it seems fine. Anyone
have a clue as to what can be causing this? As far as I can tell, my
workflow hasn't changed and this wasn't a problem previous to this week
(i.e., no pixelation in my old photos) but I guess I must be doing
*something* wrong (??).

Thanks in advance,

Looks fine.

I have the same problem or a similar problem and I've never figured it out.

Long Answer: Basically, my photos look pixelated in my own browser. Other
people's photos in the same browser, do not. But I have AOL and it has a built
in browser -- sort of a stripped down IE. I've double-checked that I do not
have it set to compress graphics (you might double-check yours).

So what I do now, if I am concerned, is open Netscape (I have an older
version which I like better than any subsequent versions) or Firefox and
double-check. Nope, they don't have the same pixelation. And don't ask me why
it is only
my photos that will look bad, while others' won't. Oh, sure I see some
pixelation in others photos now and then, but not nearly as bad as I see in
mine. And
it's not just self-criticalness, it is a fact.

Short Answer: Preview with more than one browser.

I keep wondering if it has something to do with caching, but not sure.
