Hi!

This was taken a few days ago at a family portrait session. I usually
shoot each of the children individually along with the family.

Pentax *istD, A 70-210/4, AF360FGZ on Stroboframe bracket
ISO 400, 1/90 sec @ f/4.5, Manual Mode, Center weighted metering
-1.5 stops flash compensation, shading provided by the father holding
my reflective to soften the sun.

I don't find it particularly flat, but (on my monitor) it seems that no immediately visible part of the image is pure white... This might've been the reason (or one of the reasons) of Shel's comment.

This lens seems to be your favorite, Bruce, at least recently...

I am somewhat unsure about the placement of her eyes... They are rather in the center... Though it seems balanced...

I suppose "quiet" also can be represented as "stable" or "balanced"... It is a picture that made me think... I suppose it means it succeeded for me.
