I think this one needs two things. More DOF - probably need more
light or a tripod or both. Also, it seems that it would be nice to
very easily realize one hand is yours and one is hers. Perhaps a
different pose that would clearly indicate - like two left or right
hands or difference of clothing or something. As is, your hand is
hidden enough by hers that along with shallow dof, it is not readily
apparent that there are two of you. Maybe even both of her hands
holding one of yours or vice versa.

Anyway, I really like the idea, but it needs some more work to make a
truly great shot - certainly has the makings for it.

Actually, with that particular pose that was the idea (that it would not be
readily apparent that it was two different hands). Sort of an abstraction thing.

But I agree about the DOF. It also might need more contrast too. I found when
I printed it small on the insert it darkened up, but the larger one should
probably have more contrast.

I also liked a pose that looked more like a handclasp -- top down look at
side of hands clasping, if you get me. That pose does look like two hands and I
want to it again.

Maybe there is a way I can tripod it, but it was difficult to hold hands and
also look through the camera on a tripod. To say the least. I was getting a
crick in my neck, but I may have to try to tripod it if I use the Tamron 90mm
macro.

Thanks for the input and encouragement -- definitely going to try it again.

Marnie ;-)
