A quick solution is to create a mask based on highlights and feather it a few 
pixels, you can then sharpen everything but the highlights which will reduce 
visible sharpening halos and reduce the chance of edge saturation in bright 
areas of the image. I produced a mask action which I call in particular 
sharpening actions.
